I finally made my way out east of the city to Long Island's SNEAKER BISTRO. I had to show love to "JOE" and the rest of the Bistro family. Overall i had a dope experience and will be making my way here more often. Check out the Goliath "G" fitted leaving its mark at the shop. LOL!

Rucker Park, located in Harlem, New York City, was host to the original Rucker Tournament and the Rucker Pro League. It has hosted the Entertainer's Basketball Classic (EBC) since the 80's. Rucker Park has always been considered the home of the best streetball around. Past and present. Wilt. Kareem. Erving. Monroe. Joe "The Destroyer" Hammond. Pee Wee Kirkland. The Goat. Marbury. Brand. Artest. Tinsley. Chances are, if you've heard a legendary story about streetball battles, the location was probably Rucker Park. The EBC began in 1982 as games between rap groups, and bounced around a few parks for a few years before finding a long-time home at Rucker Park. The EBC is what has kept Rucker Park alive for years after the original Rucker tournament and various leagues shut down. All the famous stuff you've heard happen at Rucker Park from the 1980's up through the present, that's the EBC. Currently, you can catch EBC games on the NBA TV cable television channel. Chris Rucker, the grandson of Holcombe Rucker, who the park is named after. Aspires to be like what the EBC has been for the last 20+ years, but it'll take time and a lot of work.
